“IS IT STILL THE SAME DOWN GAINSBOROUGH WAY?'“
My first public exhibition was at Millbank Tower for Roots and Roots (curated and directed by Toria Eve, Ikleel Fadel and Kulsoma Khatun).
I illustrated a series of pieces that explore how the earliest experiences in my life impacted my development and who I am today (namely my family- how we started and what happened since). I explore themes of divorce, childhood, love and loss.
All pieces were drawn with dip pen and India ink before being coloured with acrylic inks (applied by brush on hotpress watercolour paper). Each illustration measures 148x21mm.
